Meghan + Nathan

Meghan + Nathan were one of the first couples to book me when I made the move from my home of Hawai’i to Dallas, Texas in early 2022.

The move was very difficult for me - uprooting everything and restarting not only my business and career, but my entire life. Adjusting to Dallas life was pretty seamless, thankfully, and a lot of that had to do with my amazing couples who trusted me despite my newness to the area, and the amazing weddings I got to capture during my first full year in Texas.

M + N chose to have their wedding at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Downtown Dallas. The building is truly an architectural spectacle. Towering as a looming highrise of blue glass with angular cuts, the museum just demands to be seen.

The couple wanted their wedding to be a combination of funky celebration with a laid-back, springtime theme. Lots of beautiful florals by Kate Mcleod Studio to contrast with the cool metal tones of the museum. And there’s just something special about sharing a kiss under the gaze of a T-Rex display.

I’m truly honored to have been M+N’s photographer. There was so much joy and love throughout the whole day. Let’s do this again soon, yeah?
