Sparrow BARN

Roses, Blush, Blooms

The summer of 2022 in Dallas, Texas was one of its hottest in years. We moved from Hawai’i to Texas early this year and when May rolled around, we were caught off guard by the incredibly intense summer heat. People kept reassuring us that it’s “usually not this bad,” but the only thing that could make things bearable was to stay indoors with the aircon.

Thankfully, I had some amazing weddings to capture to keep my mind off of the heat. This stunning, European-inspired elopement at The White Sparrow was the absolute best way to get creative.

The design was heavily inspired by blush and rose blooms, showcasing a lush greenery altar where the couple exchanged their intimate vows. Mariah’s gown by Naeem Khan literally stole the show with its elaborate cape and gorgeous detailing.

The intimate table for close family and friends was decorated with gorgeous terracotta and coffee-toned rose blooms, with fresh peaches and pears artfully placed to emulate a lavish feast.

And that cake! A Luxe Cake Studio crafted a flawless two-tiered wedding cake with a peach exterior that looked too good to eat.

The White Sparrow is located about 1 hour north of Dallas, in the town of Quinlan. It provides an immaculate event venue with its toweringly tall, textured white walls. This famous wedding venue is technically a barn but it feels more like the European countryside with a sleek touch. It is one of my favorite wedding venues in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area!
