As the weather in Dallas, Texas grows colder, the city starts to take on a more cozy atmosphere. Businesses start to hang up string lights in anticipation for the holidays, the tall architectural buildings light up as the glittering sun sets, and fall-themed outfits just seem to fit more seamlessly with the urban street setting.

So it’s no surprise that many of my clients have requested to do their engagement photoshoots in Downtown Dallas! And honestly, as a lover of architecture and sculpture myself, I’m not mad about it at all.

M+J were one of those couples. Fun, joyful and honest. Those three words sum up their connection and the way I wanted to capture them. We had a BLAST running throughout the streets of Downtown Dallas as the city lit up for the evening. Iconic neon signs, sparkling lights, and Christmas decor made everything feel so merry.

For their outfits, M+J opted for a simple, yet classy combination of black and white. I absolutely love the little details - J’s suspenders, M’s sheer puffy sleeves - these little choices elevated their outfits immensely. I think their photos speak for themselves, don’t you?
